begin to cut the squares of 6 cm. each side of fabric or linen more or less in harmony with the colors (sorry, but this phase of the lesson I have not photographed ...) and add them to the first three of a strip form and then add the strips on each other. 0.5 cm seam allowance so there is a square of clean cloth to the side about 5cm. Be ', the end result is this (the top photo). Iron.
Cut your fabric pieces into regular squares, 6 cm. for side, the seam allowance of 0.5 cm. is included. You'll need 27 squares.
Sew it into stripes of three and then sew the stripes one under the other. You'll Have an unique piece of 3x9 squares (upper piece in the photo) or, if you prefer, three blocks of nine patches. Iron
it.
Why nine patches? Why I sewed three blocks of nine squares of cloth (nine patches) ... now what? What do we do? Cut a piece of fabric the same size and apply on a nine patch pocket and two strips of linen (the central part of the picture) and then take the thermal adhesive pad (bottom photo) or if any padding is not too thick .
Cut an unique piece of fabric examination of the size of the piece just nine patches sewn (it will be about 15x45 cm.).
Sew a folder and two pieces of a different fabric (center part of the photo).
Now cut an unique piece of wadding plain, a little bigger of 15x45 cm.

right sides and under the padding, and away at the sewing machine.
Place the two fabric pieces right to the right and wadding under Them.
Let's sew with the sewing machine, now!

Round one short side and sandwiched between the two straight two ribbons organza top of each other. The tapes will be long, each, slightly less than the total length of nine patches roll. Place the two pieces of organza ribbon Between the fabrics right side of one smaller. Their length has to be a little less the whole length of the nine patches roll, I know about 40 cm.
Sew the side rounded. You can fix the pieces together with pins.

Now sew the perimeter, leaving an opening for turning the whole. Close opening with small dots and irons.
Now sew the perimeter, leaving a small opening to turn it on out.
Then close the little invisible points with manually opening and iron it.

... and inside. Voila, you're done. Easy, right? ... and the inner side. Easy, do not you think?
Last slide / Last pic:
The nine patch roll can be used as a small handbag that rolled up bag occupies a small space, but I think something is missing and then yesterday I made it so by adding a piece of felt down in order to keep the needles (my husband if he finds himself on the couch and not quite happy ...) and a pad for scissors that also serves as a pincushion, although the rolling scissors is not easy. In the next episode impararemo to do the bearing for the scissors.
You can use the nine patches as a roll up bag stitching, very useful and portable in a bag oz rolled up.
Also I've added a small piece of felt to hold the needles.
Next time we will learn how to make the little scissor fob you can see in the very first photo.
