Transform Yourself Into A Wolf

Make your own labels / Making Dye

Step by step to the completion of Custom Labels

Making of A Personalized Labels

Many have asked me how I made the labels I applied to my creations of creative sewing. So here for you step by step. You can also access "to the negative," a paper for dark fabrics and a suitable tape.

Many of you asked me how I Realize my crafting labels, that's the tutorial. I can Assure you it's very simple, and you can Also choose a dark ribbon using the proper papers.

MATERIAL (Photo oo)

The first thing to do is make sure the message to be printed. Choose font, size, color and any special characters, the font size also depends on the height of your belt: to be coincident when you are going to transfer. Consider that to monitor the writing is larger than when it is printed.
I used a 14pt size. for a tape of 10 mm in height. Fate also dotted borders: you will be in the seam and heat transfer.
You must then decide how much space to leave at the beginning and end of the inscription should be sufficient to stay within the seam without "eating" the sentence.
Finally, play your sentence to fill an A4 sheet (given 29.3 x20, 5 cm. About max) and follow the instructions specific to the card-on transfers, print a mirror with an ink-jet ink.
Let dry, then cut horizontally into strips. Please do not cut them individually, you complicate your life unnecessarily.
This first step is probably the most complex, you may have to experiment to the size of the writing that may be smaller than you expected. In this case, do not throw the job done, buy a belt closer or better, buy the tape after printing.

First of all, let's prepare the file of the label. Choose your font, size, color and any special letters. The dimension of the font depends of the height of the ribbon: It Has To Be The Same ounces transferred. Remember than the dimension viewed on the monitor is bigger than it is once stamped.
I've used a 14pt. dimension for a ribbon of 1 centimeter of height. Mark also dotted borders: they will help you during the cutting and transferring.
Then, decide how much space you have to leave before and after the phrase: it has to be enough to be sewed into the seam without cut the phrase. At last, copy the phrase to fill a page: the dimensions depend on your paper format, you have to stamp a whole page. Following the paper instructions, stamp it with an ink-jet printer using the mirror option. Let's dry then cut horizontal stripes. Dont' cut single labels.
This is probably the most difficult step of this tutorial: it's possible you have to make trials in order to Adjust the dimension of the phrase, Which can result littler then you expected it to be. In this case, do not throw your work: just choose a smaller ribbon or, better, buy the ribbon after you Have Done the stamps.

Now is the time to transfer the print to tape. Lay the tape on the board and place the cloth strip upside securing with pins. Caution: To avoid damaging tape and written, place the pins at the ends, the dotted outline will help you put the pins in the right place between a sign and another.
The pins must be fixed in modo fermo ed infilati nel panno il più possibile, in modo da non intralciare il passaggio con il ferro da stiro.

Now let's transfer the paper. Lay the ribbon on the ironing board and place a stripe up down above the ribbon, h
olding with pins. Attention! To avoid to ruin ribbon and stripe, you have to place pins at the edges; the dotted borders will help you to put the pins between the phrases.
Besides, you have to press the pins into the board until the head, in order to not hamper the pass of iron.

Seguite le istruzioni specific to the card-on transfers: In general the iron must be at maximum temperature and the steam must be turned off.
Pass, review and hit while the iron ...

Follow the paper Instructions: Usually, You have to use the iron at the maximum temperature and without steam.
Pass, pass again and press the iron above the stripe until ...

... the paper will not change colors in markers paper . Follow any If the instructions specific to the card. Let cool.

... the paper will change color into the markers of the paper. Anyway follow the paper instructions. Let's cool down.

turning the strip you can see that I placed the pins along the dotted lines of the paper, then I'll go where to cut.

If you turn over the stripe, you can see the signs of the pins. Exactly I've Placed it along the dotted borders, where, I'll cut the labels.

Once completely cold, you can gently remove the protective paper.

Once the stripe is cold, gently remove the protective paper.

Now you can cut individual labels, always following the dotted outline.

Now you can cut the single labels, followind the dotted border.

Ribbon Trim / Decor with Ribbon

Making of a Ribbon trim

Step by step to the completion of a decoration with ribbon

Gosh It's Not as easy as it looks to photograph what you do, so I apologise if the photos aren't brilliant, I will write step by step as we go along though and hopefully that will make it a bit clearer, if not I'm sorry and you'll just have to ask me instead.

Pic 1 / Foto 1:
To begin with you need 3 lengths of ribbon, usually I estimate about 2 metre lengths for a small hanging pillow so in total it would be 6 metres if you were doing it in all the same colour ribbon, make sure they are all seperate lengths. Next fasten the 3 lengths of ribbon to the bottom point (in this case is the heart point), I usually slip stitch this together.

Per cominciare avete bisogno di 3 pezzi di nastro, calculation generally about 2 feet for a small cushion and then hung in total should be 6 meters if you want to do everything the same color , provided they are separated into 3 parts. Then attach the 3 pieces of tape at the lowest point of bearing, in this case in the lower tip of the heart, usually I use point "slip stitch" to join them.

Pic 2 / Photo 2:
Now here I catch the ribbons with the needle and cotton to pushing the needle through the ribbon thickness.

At this point you move the needle through the entire thickness of
tapes overlap.

Pic 3 / Photo 3:
Then pull the thread Towards That you know the ribbon ruffles.

Now pull the wire toward you in order to curl the ribbon.

Pic 4-8 / 4-8
Photo:
Then catch the fabric through the seams with this is about you needle 1 / 4 inch intervals as I go along, then catch the ribbon again, this is Usually about 1 inch intervals along the ribbon or However you prefer to close or the size of the ruffles.

Continue threading the fabric along the seam
at intervals of about 6 mm. then again passed through the three overlapping bands posts:
the interval in this case depends dall'arricciatura you want: to
I usually put them at intervals of 2.5 cm. about.

You do this all the way around your pillow until you get back to Where You I started Altogether then catch the ribbons and make a slight knot with Them and fasten off, then trim the ribbons to length and You Have the finished project.

Continue this throughout the length of your
bearing, until the king returns starting point. At this point I of
I usually tie a knot in the strip light and fixed them . adjust now
the length of the strip and the work is finished.

Particular This project is for my MIL for Mothers Day, The Heart is a freebie by Anne Les Petites Croix and the thread I used is by Dragonfloss Lasting Friendship, its a lovely varigated thread in LILACS and soft mauves, the fabric is hand dyed 32ct Lively Lilac by Kates Kloths.
